MY SERVICES

I drive the truck and as the proprietor I make sure things are done right

Our truck is 36 cubic metres (5 tonne) with a large fold down 2 tonne tailgate as pictured below.
A standard three bedroom home contents will fit comfortably inside the truck.

The truck is 2.4 metres wide and can fit down a standard driveway, I only need a few cms clearance on either side

Wrap's and ties to protect your valuables and the sides of the truck are padded.
Sack trucks, wardrobe wheels, lifting straps, piano and flat bed trolleys are included.
Fitted plastic covers for items of furniture such as lounge, mattress or chair are available.
Furniture is insured during transit in the case of a motor vehicle accident.
Some home and contents insurance policies will cover for your removal otherwise you can obtain immediate coverage with Allianz by using the following hyperlink: <http://www.removalsinsurance.com.au/carts> .
A furniture removalist who does not charge an extra fee for full insurance is not providing the customer with full insurance.

OUR PRICES
One man $45.00 p/h , Two men $80.00 p/h (charged in half hourly increments);
Charges are inclusive of GST and all required equipment. Payment to be by cash or can be by credit card if we are given advance notice.

Moving time is the time period from when the truck arrives at pickup point until when it is ready to leave the drop-off point. Add on one hour in the Metropolitan area as the depot time.
Total cost is total hours multiplied by hourly rate.
Special Rate $66p/h Tuesday only-Minimum charge $330.
Standby Rate $70p/h can only book up to 2 days ahead, not applicable for rebooked jobs.
For piano/pool tables an extra charge of $75.00 applies on top. Otherwise there is NO extra charges.
We are available 7 day's a week and we can usually accommodate your removal request at short notice.

TAXI TRUCK WORK:$35 per item and provided it can be fitted in with our schedule. (We generally do not travel down south). Excludes pianos and pool tables, additional charges would apply for those items.

BEFORE THE MOVE

Packing boxes can be purchased from self-storage places. Some sell secondhand boxes or will buy yours when you have finished using them. We can supply boxes as part of the move but that will incur an additional cost and we need advance notice.
The larger items such as lounges, wardrobes and bookcases will be loaded first. Clear access needs to be allowed to these items.
Smaller items of furniture, boxes and lounge cushions are used as fillers during loading so space is not wasted and also to help tighten the pack.
White goods will normally be loaded last and they need to be emptied.
Drawers generally do not need to be taken out of cabinets unless the cabinets are not strong. If it is a tight load then we may need to stack a chest of drawers on top of another in which case it would be better to have the drawers out.
